New Dead Wood Society Furniture Pieces

We currently have a few unique, custom-built pieces for sale here at our Belmont office with much more to come very soon. Call Rich at 603-630-6235 if you are interested in making a purchase or have a custom furniture project for us.

BARNBOARD SHELF WITH TONGUE AND GROOVE BACKING: $150

This is a beautiful piece with an all-natural linseed oil finish that features some weathered barnboard with fantastic saw marks. The back wall is made of old tongue and groove siding, from the same barn. The shelf is 3 1/2 feet tall and nearly 30 inches wide at the top.

BEAVER STICK SHELF WRAPPED IN VINES WITH HEART ACCENTS: $250

This one-of-a-kind piece is made with a long stick discarded by a beaver in the wild. The stick sits on top of a beautiful old barnboard found in Bethel, Maine. The board is about 46.5 inches long with the beaver stick measuring around 50 inches from tip to tip. Both ends are chewed to a point. The shelf has three strong brackets to hold it up on the wall and has an obvious heart theme. The hooks on the front are shaped like hearts in addition to the center-piece and two woven vine hearts (one at each end). It is finished with a fine coat of shellac.

DOCK TABLE: $100

This rustic dock post table is perfect for anyone who enjoys furniture with a nautical theme. It is made from a naturally weathered dock post (complete with bumper pad, reflector and rope grommet), a piece of an old cabinet for the table top and the base for an old belt motor for the footer. There is even a small shelf which would be a perfect place for a cold bottle of beer. This would be ideal as a side table for an old favorite chair. It would also be an awesome fixture on the porch of any lakehouse. It is finished with two coats of amber shellac.

FOLDING TABLE FEATURING OLD LAKE WINNISQUAM MAP AND NEW ENGLAND MAP BORDER: $100

This is another piece that is perfect for a lakehouse setting. It folds into a standing position that shows off the maps even when the table is not being used. It is also accented by birch bark edging and ornate furniture tacks. It is finished with multiple coats of high-gloss decoupage glue that makes it very durable and waterproof.

MORE TO COME: Stay tuned to our site for more pieces in the next few weeks. We will be creating more natural wood products and holiday-themed items in the near future.
