Above is a very involved project we just finished, creating a table lamp/night light with beaver-chewed sticks, vines and birch bark for the base and a stretched out Sprite bottle for the bulb to sit on top of. This lamp is fully functional and uses a small night light bulb. There are hours of vine work, finishing and meticulous glue and carpentry work wrapped up in this piece. It is a steal at $200. The above key holder hangs on the wall from a small string loop. All the vines are real, and so is the bird's nest (the eggs are plastic pearls). It is very lightweight and can hang on a single nail easily. The inlaid sign on the birch bark square says "Home is Where the Heart is." We are asking $80 for this one-of-a-kind piece. This table is a simple pine end table with a twist. We added birch bark accents to the woodworking in between the two platforms and also inserted this crazy looking broken limb. The limb broke in a manner that made it look like the smiling face of some monster with hair sticking out of the top of the head. There are vines wrapped around the top of the head to appear like a hair tie as well. The detail in this piece is astounding. The head piece has incredible natural designs with lots of swirls and multiple circles that could be the eyes of the monster. You can easily move the table around by grabbing anywhere under the head on the stick poking out. It is a very secure and solid bond. Also, this piece started out with a dark finish, so there is a tremendous amount of sanding work in this piece. We can let it go for $200.
